1. Why warranty terms are confirmed per order

We sell used engines and gearboxes sourced from a wide range of donor vehicles, and the condition and history of each unit varies — so we don't publish one blanket warranty duration for every listing on the site. Instead, before you order, tell us the item you're interested in and we'll confirm exactly what warranty cover applies to that specific unit. That confirmation is included in your order details, so you know precisely what's covered before you pay.

2. How to check warranty terms before you buy

Email sales@automanagespare.co.za or message us on WhatsApp at +27 65 725 7359 with the product you're looking at (or its SKU, shown on every product page) and your vehicle's make, model and engine code. We'll confirm fitment and the warranty that applies before you place your order.

3. If a fault shows up after fitting

Contact sales@automanagespare.co.za with your order number, a description of the fault, and when it appeared. We assess every case individually against the terms confirmed for that order — this is separate from our Return Policy, which covers items that have not yet been fitted or installed.

4. What isn't covered

Warranty cover does not extend to faults caused by incorrect fitment, use of an incompatible part, damage occurring during installation, or issues unrelated to the engine or gearbox itself (for example, wiring, cooling system or ancillary component faults on the vehicle it's fitted to).
